This is some of the rawest and most organic-sounding SBDM I've encountered outside of Kraanium, Devourment, and Cephalotripsy. Nothing here is too layered, too over-produced, or sterile. There is a good deal of variety in the vocals, which sound natural and unprocessed, and the bass is its own distinguishable instrument here. The sounds on display here are from the older, murkier, nastier schools. This is the real stuff to my ears.

Scriptures of Vicennial Defilement

Last I saw Kraanium, they'd recently released Slamchosis, and I got the gnarliest nosebleed I've ever had in the pit - managed to fill a bathroom sink at least once. This is a top-tier entry into their discography, more early Devourment influence than usual. Excellent soundtrack to lifting and, if they come to my neck of the woods, potential future concert injuries.
